COVID-19 Update: A message to our Guests

The St. Helens Hotel is closely monitoring the Covid-19 epidemic and our foremost priority is the health and comfort of our guests and team members.

In addition to strictly adhering to the public health guidelines of the UK Government, all our team members have received specific training and guidelines to ensure enhanced cleaning and hygiene measures have been put in place to ensure your stay with us is safe and secure: These policies are subject to change, and regularly updated in line with the UK Government and WHO.

 

Our hotel has obtained the cleanliness and prevention label, verified by Clifton. This ensures that our hygiene and prevention measures meet the highest standards.

 New safety Procedures

  • Employee use of preventive equipment (hydroalcoholic gel, masks, and gloves is mandatory).

  • Obligatory training for all employees in updated sanitation protocols.

  • Strict sanitation protocols for housekeeping, cleaning and disinfection, across the entire hotel, adhering to the guidelines of the UK Government and the WHO.

  • Queing system has been implemented at reception with 2 metre floor stickers advising guests where to stand at a safe distance from each other.

  • Strict rule that only one individual/family is allowed in the lift at any one time, this is signposted and there are hand sanitising stations outside the lifts.

  • Persepex screens have been placed on the reception and bar area and debit/credit card machines are regularly cleaned. 

  • Multiple sanitation stations have been in place in all main areas of the hotel for guests to utilise.

  • Room service and grab and go breakfast offering – this service can be ordered via our  WhatsApp concierge for socially distanced delivery/collection
